Add Closed Captions To A Video
You can add closed captions to videos hosted with Vimsy Hosting or Wistia
Navigate to the settings of the video you want to add closed captions to and choose Source from the menu on the left.
You will see an area for uploading captions. Vimsy supports closed captions in webVTT format, which will have the file type .vtt
Click “Upload File” and navigate to your closed captions or drag the file and drop it on the drop zone, then save the settings for your video.
Return to the video page and play the video. You will see an icon on the video player for closed captions. Pressing this turns the closed captions on or off.
If you want to remove the closed captions for your video, return to the video settings and choose Source from the menu on the left. In the Closed Captions section, press the bin icon and save the settings for your video. Your closed captions have been removed. If you want to replace them, you can upload another webVTT file here.
